On October 25, DIR International Trading, LiuGong`s exclusive dealer for Spain, has officially opened their new 3S facility in Zaragoza with the attendance of local dignitaries, LiuGong and DIR executives and distinguished customers from greater Zaragoza region and all-around Spain. One of the key factors of LiuGong’s success lies in its dealer network. With more than 300 dealers in over 100 countries, LiuGong offers local support and professional advice so that customers can be confident that LiuGong has the backup and support functions needed to maximize machine uptime whilst keeping running costs down, with service & parts available where and when you need them.
LiuGong, a global leader in the construction equipment manufacturing industry celebrated last year its 60th anniversary. Founded back in 1958 in Liuzhou China, producing wheel loaders; today LiuGong is a leading manufacturer with 19 product lines and a fast-developing global presence.
Europe is a key region in the global development strategy of LiuGong. Speaking about the company’s strategy and confidence in Europe, Mr. Hakan Ilhan, Vice President of LiuGong Europe, said “In the long-term strategic plans of the company, European markets are crucial for LiuGong. LiuGong also underscored its manufacturing presence in Europe with the establishment of a European R&D Centre highlighting the commitment to developing world class products with designs that tailor products to the varied needs of customers throughout Europe.
It was in Bauma 2019, when LiuGong has officially announced new distributorship agreement with DIR International Trade for the Spanish market and during the opening event in Zaragoza, Mr. Hakan Ilhan further commented, “Today, we are delighted to join our partners on this important day to celebrate the official opening of this world-class facility that we are standing at. During the 2-day event, attendees had the opportunity to tour the facilities of DIR International and also get to know more about LiuGong`s product offering from DIR & LiuGong`s experts through product demonstrations and machine trials. A total of thirteen tough machines including excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders and fork lifts were at display; all demonstrating LiuGong`s capability to deliver products with features tailored for many working applications including general construction & infrastructure, quarry & aggregates, material handling, utilities, landscaping and road & highway.
